Either one or both

Prof.Samdhong Rinpoche and Tenzin Tsundue. It'd be interesting to HEAR either of them open up about their thoughts, beliefs AND VISION ON this free ACESS FORUM. GOOD LUCK IN INVITING EITHER GUEST*

I heard alot about his articulate talks.
Never heard him speak though. My ears long to hear Mr. Sangay speak.

Why don't you guys gather some Tibetan college students, majoring in different fields, from different countries, both male and female. They can share their experience, advise for new students in college/going to college, what to do and what not to do and what kind of majors are there outside for us. This will help us a lot, since many of our Tibetan parents are uneducated/no experiece in American's education and so forth. It seems like almost all the Tibetan students going to college are taking same major. We have no clue what opportunities are there for us outside of our community. We tend to take same paths that everybody else had already walked (what I mean there is WE NEED MORE RESOURCE for our youths).

GUESTS

Submitted by bhumo on Wed, 2006-11-15 10:41.

Well i think such forum or platform must give more opportunities to young vibrant upcoming artists or professionals rather than those already suggested name. They have reached their heights therefore we must let aspiring film makers, poets, writers to speak up their mind. I wud suggest u guys to call up people frm India. We have popular magazines and sites like Tibetan world, tibetan review, phayul.. so why not interview the editors and writers of those reputed group. i hope u will consider this.

The show is moving well.. and it must go on.

I have few suggestions.

-Tenzin Kunsal
How about the girl named Tenzin Kunsal? The talented young girl from NYC. I have seen her sing and dance and I can only wonder how one at such age look/sing/dance/act so mature? She would be an interesting guest which I would very much look forward to.

-Young Tibetans from India who are abroad
I am interested (and I am sure many others are too) in hearing more about the difficulties of adapting to a near culture. The culture shock experiences, the changing self, adaptation, education, change in stereotypes and blah blah associated. A comparative analysis or views on the change in place/living experience.

-Tibetan Americans/french/..etc..
It would be interesting to hear more about the tibetan americans. Their views. Few of 1st generation, 2nd generation...tibetan americans, their view on their identity, would they associate more as being tibetans or americans. A discussion between those born in India, in Tibet, abroad.

-Miss Tibet (s)
1st- to the present miss tibet? Def would be interesting. Or the contestants, What is your favourite story book? " Books like Snow white and Cinderella" HAHA.

-No homosexuals. Some things in our society better remain conservative considering the diminishing culture/identity of Tibetan community. One was enough. Thank you very much.

-Sonam Wangdue & Passang Tsering
Two of them should be hilarious. Their experiences working in tibetan movies. Their assest-their sense of humour. Experiences doing something different and completely new in the tibetan society then.

That's about it for now. More to come. Kudos to Tibet talk, Tenzin Wangyal la and all others. It's enjoyable, informative, educative.
I hope it would be either more formal or more informal. The mixture of the formal and informal tibetan language sometimes confuses me. Great Work anyhow!
